Real engagement-rate vetting
Computes true engagement rate from recent posts and separates real audiences from inflated follower counts.
Run for Lumira, a demo brand we invented for this page. No customer data. Nothing here runs against a live account.
Every session here was run once and saved, against a demo brand or public data. On your own account Naise works from your brand voice, your campaigns and your connected channels, so it reasons about your data instead of a stand-in.
One viral post drags a mean ER up enough to pass an account that normally fails. Median across 12 posts is the number that predicts what the next post will do.
Computing ER from the last 12 posts per creator rather than the headline number, and using the median rather than the mean.
6 of 10 pass. 4 fail the 2% floor.
| Creator | Followers | Mean ER | Median ER | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator A | 14k | 6.6% | 6.4% | Pass |
| Creator B | 22k | 5.4% | 5.1% | Pass |
| Creator C | 47k | 4.3% | 4.2% | Pass |
| Creator D | 9k | 4.1% | 4.0% | Pass |
| Creator E | 118k | 2.2% | 1.9% | Fail |
| Creator F | 61k | 3.8% | 2.4% | Pass, see note |
| Creator G | 205k | 3.1% | 0.8% | Fail |
| Creator H | 33k | 2.6% | 2.5% | Pass |
| Creator I | 88k | 1.4% | 1.3% | Fail |
| Creator J | 150k | 1.9% | 1.6% | Fail |
Creator G is the one to look at. Mean 3.1%, median 0.8%. That is a 4x gap, and it comes from a single post that did 30x their normal numbers. On a mean-based screen they pass comfortably. On a median they fail badly, and the median is the honest read: 11 of their last 12 posts are near-dead.
Creator F sits on the line. 2.4% median, just over the floor, and the trend across the 12 posts is downward: the oldest four average 3.3%, the newest four average 1.9%. Passing today, likely failing in a month. Worth a shorter contract rather than a no.
Naise created an artifact
Mean and median ER side by side, so a single viral post cannot carry an account through the screen.

Why median: one viral post lifts a mean enough to pass a near-dead account.
That was a sample. Run it on your own brand.
Naise reads your brand, your channels, and your market, then does this against your real data.
