Draft a press release

Give Naise the facts and it returns a properly structured release: headline, dateline, inverted pyramid, quote, boilerplate and contacts, with every unsupported claim flagged.

The brief Naise works from

Write a press release for brand announcing the announcement. Key facts: key facts. Include a quote from who is quoted. Use standard release structure: headline, subhead, dateline, an opening paragraph that survives being the only thing anyone reads, supporting detail in descending order of importance, the quote, a boilerplate, and media contact placeholders. Keep the headline under 12 words and the quote under 25, because long quotes are the first thing cut. Then list every claim in the release that a journalist could ask me to substantiate, and mark the ones I have not given you evidence for.

Highlighted words are the blanks you fill in. Leave one empty and Naise uses a sensible default.

the announcement

For example: the launch of refillable packaging across the full range

Worth knowing

Naise writes the release and formats it for the wire. Distributing it through a wire service is not something Naise does, so the finished file is yours to send.
